ARACHNOPHOBIA
A movie, like JAWS before it, that is as funny and entertaining as it is terrifying. This is like JAWS for the cult audience. It won't be considered amongst any of the greatest of American films as JAWS is, but the similarities are there through and through. The Jeff Daniels character is very reminiscent of Roy Scheider, and although Goodman is not as "Captain Ahab" as the Quint character from JAWS, he is just as fun to watch for completely different reasons. Not to mention, that seeing ARACHNOPHOBIA will affect how you react to seeing a spider the same way you'd probably react to getting into the water after seeing JAWS.
BAMBI
To hell with what you may think of me, because BAMBI is the shit. Seriously, though, I keep this movie handy for whenever I feel like I need a good cry but can't bring myself to do it. I just pop in BAMBI and remember how much I love my Mom.
