After last night's marathon debate, the Republicans went back at it tonight.
This was a very controversial one. When Fox wouldn't allow Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter in the debate (even though Paul is doing better in some of the polls than those that were let in), the co-sponsor, the New Hampshire Republican party withdrew. So, it was just Chris Wallace and the top four.
I hate to admit it, but I didn't get to see this tonight. I wanted to, but with both THE SIMPSONS (in a very funny political episode) and THE AMAZING RACE (very good this season) on at the same time, my Tivo and second TV were tied up. I did flip during ads, and caught parts of it. But nothing spectacular. From the post debate talk, though, it seemed Romney did well.
One interesting note, in that post debate Fox News commentary. Two of the Fox pundits had to admit that they had family members who worked for one of the campaigns. One, FORTUNE's Nina Easton, had her husband as a Romney aide, and William Kristol's daughter worked for Thompson. While it is good that they admitted this fact, I have to ask, aren't there any commentators out there who didn't have connections to one of the campaigns? It probably would have been better for them to recuse themselves entirely.
Two more days until the New Hampshire primary. Then South Carolina. This is, for me, more fun than the Patriots.
