Superbowl XLII Spots
2008-02-01 22:48:06 by Jeff in newsinfilm.com

The Superbowl is, of course, this Sunday. Which means in two days the Patriots will go down in history as the greatest team to ever play the game.

But it also means brand new commercials. It’s looking like it will be loaded with new movie ads during the football game.

Movie-related Super Bowl spots include Hancock, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Semi-Pro, Drillbit Taylor, Wall-E and/or The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Universal, Warner Bros. and Fox have also bought time during the game, but did not reveal which films would be featured. Hopefully we’ll see our first video footage from The Incredible Hulk.

Marvel.com has a screenshot of the new Iron Man Superbowl ad on their site. Right now it’s just a picture and a promise, but after the game the video should be available for repeat viewing.  I’ll also try to snag it and update this post as soon as it goes live.
